Notice of Subsidiary Acquisition: WorldLink & Company, Operator of the “SkyLink Japan” Brand

In October 2024, we acquired shares of WorldLink & Company (Headquarters: Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture; President: Shinya Suda, hereafter referred to as WorldLink), making it a subsidiary of EXEDY. Through this investment, WorldLink has officially joined the EXEDY Group. Moving forward, the EXEDY Group will strengthen its foundation in the UAV business and aim for further growth in this sector.

Background of the Investment

Currently, we are developing, manufacturing, and selling drone products under the EXEDY Drone Products brand, with a focus on propulsion systems such as propellers. In 2023, we invested in Baibars (Turkey) and in 2024, in EAMS Robotics, further expanding our business into drone manufacturing and sales, accelerating growth and market share expansion in the UAV industry.

Meanwhile, WorldLink, a pioneer in the UAV business, has been providing drone-based services and solutions. In response to rapid technological innovations and market changes, WorldLink sought a strategic partnership to achieve further business growth.

This acquisition comes as both companies’ business strategies align, with the shared goal of fostering growth in the UAV sector. As a result, WorldLink has joined the EXEDY Group.

Future Outlook

Moving forward, the EXEDY Group will focus on expanding the market share of its products and services while creating new demand to achieve further growth in the UAV business.

Additionally, we will build a value chain that includes maintenance and after-sales services, ensuring the stable supply of safe and reliable products with the high-quality standards of the automotive industry, all while enhancing customer satisfaction (CS).

Through these initiatives, the EXEDY Group aims to become a total solution provider in the UAV industry, offering services that meet the diverse needs of various industries and contributing to the broader adoption and societal integration of UAVs.
